How to choose household wires

1. Look at the package

Wires that are neat, well packaged, complete in items (trademark, factory name, factory address, telephone, specification, section, inspector, etc.) and clearly printed on the certificate are generally produced by large manufacturers. Most of the wires produced by large manufacturers will comply with relevant national standards, so the quality is relatively reliable.

2. Compare cores

Open the package and have a brief look at the wire cores inside. Compare the wire cores of different brands with the same nominal value. If one of the two types of wires is obviously too thick, it indicates that the wires of the brand with thick skin are not reliable. If you pull the thread leather hard, it is generally national standard.

3. Burn with fire

After the insulating material is ignited, remove the ignition source and extinguish it within 5s. It has a certain flame retardant function and should be a national standard wire.

4. Look at the inner core

The material of the inner core (copper) is brighter, softer and better. National standard requires that the inner core must be made of pure copper.
