The difference 

1. Different categories: control cables belong to electrical equipment cables, and power cables are two of the five categories of cables.

3. Cable color: the color of the insulation core of the control cable is generally black printed with white characters, and the low voltage of the power cable is generally colored.

4, the cross section is different: the cross section of the control cable is generally not more than 10 square, power cable is mainly used to transmit power, generally large cross section.

5. Rated voltage: the rated voltage of the control cable is generally 450/750V, and the power cable is mainly 0.6/1kV and above.

6, sheath thickness: the same specifications of power cable and control cable in production, the insulation and sheath thickness of power cable is thicker than the control cable.

Because of the reasons mentioned above, the specification of power cable can generally be large, as large as 500 square (the range of conventional manufacturers can produce), and then the large section can generally do the manufacturers are relatively few, and the control cable section is generally small, the maximum is generally not more than 10 square.
